The compact, innovative GS11 camera has been specifically developed for a range of traffic enforcement applications; its high dynamic range (12 bits) enables it to capture both shadow detail and highlight detail at the same time, delivering sharp, high quality images whatever the lighting or weather conditions.
The camera provides both enforcement and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), while its superior resolution ensures that high quality images are captured across up to four lanes of traffic. A burst rate of four images per second ensures that all offending vehicles are captured, even in high-density traffic.

In common with all Gatsometer digital camera systems, offence data, including speed, date, time, direction, etc., is superimposed in the image, signed and encrypted at real time to ensure it is tamper-proof. Images can be viewed or downloaded via suitable fixed or wireless means of communications media.
The versatility of the GS11 provides a single camera solution for a range of diverse applications, enabling it to be used, for example, with other applications such as black or white lists of suspect or permitted vehicles.
The camera’s compact and discreet appearance has a very small impact on the surrounding environment, making it ideal for installation in difficult or covert environments. Despite its small size, the GS11 is extremely robust and able to deliver reliable operation in all weather conditions 24 hours a day.
The system’s in-built monitoring system continuously checks and reports on system functionality, while an intrusion alarm sends a warning to the remote control centre in the event of vandalism or other damage.

Gatso’s violation data bar evidence is unique and bulletproof. An easy to read date, time, location, speed and more is incorporated. More important is that the databar is attached to the violation image at the time of capture. Vendors using mechanical shutter, consumer grade cameras match the data and image later which can result in the wrong data attached to an image. With Gatso this error is not possible.
The camera used by Gatsometer is completely electronic, designed and manufactured for automated photo enforcement. Every time an image is captured, the data is immediately attached to the image and encrypted. It meets both US and international standards providing secure, tamper-proof, and prosecutable evidence every time.
